At Indian Children School, Basai, we believe that true education goes beyond classroom walls. To give students practical knowledge and cultural awareness, our school organized an educational tour to the Swami Vivekanand Museum, Khetri.
Students arrived at school early in the morning filled with excitement and curiosity. After attendance and important instructions regarding discipline and safety, the journey began under the guidance of teachers. During the travel, teachers explained the purpose of the visit and encouraged students to observe and learn actively.
On reaching the museum, students were fascinated by the historical atmosphere and peaceful surroundings. They learned that Khetri had a special connection with Swami Vivekananda and Maharaja Ajit Singh Ji, who supported him before his historic Chicago speech.
Inside the museum, students explored:
Rare photographs of Swami Vivekananda
His belongings and historical records
His teachings and philosophy
The culture and lifestyle of that era
The importance of Khetri in Indian history
Students listened attentively and asked many thoughtful questions. They understood important life values such as confidence, discipline, dedication, and service to humanity. The visit inspired them to work hard and build strong character.
After completing the tour, students shared their experiences and learnings with teachers and friends. They were motivated by Swami Vivekananda’s powerful message:
“Arise, awake and stop not till the goal is reached.”
The trip was both educational and inspirational. Students returned with greater respect for Indian culture and a new enthusiasm for learning.
The school sincerely thanks all teachers and staff members for organizing this safe and meaningful visit.
